Who are the Stillwater Lions?

Our club meets from noon to 1:00 PM, at Boutwell's Landing, on the first three Tuesdays of each month.

Join us for fun and to serve the valley!

We are everyday people who join together to make a difference in our community.

Since our club was established in 1928, many things have changed, but our passion for service remains strong. Our club's vision is "to be the global leader in community and humanitarian service", and our mission is, "to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions Clubs."

We serve the Saint Croix Valley and have FUN doing it!

Some of our community programs:

  • Vision in the Valley - A program funded by Stillwater Lions Club, VisionWorks and Saint Paul Eye Clinics to ensure that those who cannot afford glasses get them
  • Father Tom Phillips' Memorial Scholarship - An annual scholarship awarded to a Stillwater-Area High School student that reflects the club's vision and values
  • Used Eyeglasses Recycling - We collect over 3,000 used glasses per year and recycle them through the Lions Clubs International program, supporting vision health in developing countries.
  • Can Do Canines - We sponsor and train a puppy to be a future "Can Do Canine" assist dog.
  • Fall Colors Cruise - An annual fundraiser on the St. Croix River that allows Valley residents to enjoy the fall river panorama and eat hearty, healthy food
  • Dinner Theater - Our annual evening-out fundraiser; a professionally-produced seasonal play enjoyed with a gourmet dinner at the Water Street Inn
